    Mesopotamia is located between the Tigris R. and the Euphrates R. Which is in eastern Syria, southeastern Turkey and most of Iraq. Trajan first conquered Armenia then made it into a province. By the end of 115 A.D. he had conquered northern Mesopotamia. It was conquered in 116 A.D. by emporer Trajan and his Parthian campaign. Emporer Trajan died soon after he conquered northern Mesopotamia. His successor Hadrain re-established the provience of Mesopotamia in 198 B.C.

    Introduction
    The Roman Empire at it's height was the most advanced civilization at the time. It's creativity had no bounds any new idea that helped the prestige of Rome was embraced by everyone. With the spoils of war coming to Rome from newly conquered lands new ideas and people came offering help to make Rome the most advanced city in the world. Soon aqueducts bringing water from distant mountain tops solved the problem of supplying a city of one million. The most famous of all architectural achievements was the aqueduct. Since modern day plumbing was not available at the time architects had to find a way to get water to the people and the Roman Imperator(Emperor). The aqueduct was a long ston bridge with arches below it to transfer water from one place to .The greatest idea ever thought up by the Romans themselves was the Dome. Put into almost every single monument today it is created by setting arches up next to each other creating a huge ceiling that showed the might of Rome.
