¨ In 84 B.C. married daughter of L. Cornelius Cinna, Cornelia.
¨ In 81 B.C. he joined the Roman Army.
¨ From 80-78 B.C. Caesar went to Asia.
¨ In 75 B.C. he was captured by pirates and released after forty days.
¨ In 73 B.C. he was elected Pontifex.
¨ In 72 B.C. he was elected Military Tribune.
¨ Cornelia died in 69 B.C.
¨ In 67 B.C. he married Pompeia.
¨ In 65 B.C. he was elected Aedile.
¨ In 63 B.C. he was elected Pontifex Maximus.
¨ Divorced Pompeia in 62 B.C.
¨ Became governor of Further Spain in 61 B.C.
¨ In 60 B.C. became Consul and formed Triumvirate with Crassus and Pompey.
¨ Married Calpurnia in 59 B.C.
¨ Appointed governor of Gaul (France) in 58 B.C.
¨ In 58 B.C. he defeats the Germans.
¨ In 55 B.C. he crossed the Rhine.

¨ In 48 B.C Caesar defeated Pompey at Pharsalus in Greece.
¨ In the autumn of 48 B.C, Caesar met Cleopatra in Egypt while searching for Pompey after he had fled to Egypt.
¨Cleopatra gave birth to their son, Caesarion, the following year, 47 B.C.
¨ Declared dictator for life in 44 B.C.
During his dictatorship, he made many reforms.
- He gave citizenship to people in Roman provinces.
- He expanded the senate.
- He created more jobs.
¨ Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by the Roman senate on March 15, 44 B.C.
